It’s kind of cool working in this industry. I get to talk to lots of business owners each and every day. Most of them have their own little niches in their corner of the internet. So it’s really interesting to see all the different websites and different marketing techniques.

What I find really interesting is that there are some really great websites out there. Sadly though, some of the best business websites online are almost impossible to find.

Tragic. Truly tragic. To spend a ton of money building your dream site and then to have that dream site quickly float off into obscurity. It happens every day. People new to the online world have the impression that all they need to do is build a beautiful website and that will be enough. Once it’s online it should become a hit with the world, almost magically, with little or no promotion at all.

Some of you are laughing at this point, some are shaking their heads wondering what the heck I’m talking about. The fact of the matter is, there are really people out there that believe this. That once the website is built it will rise to the top like cream, probably because their web designer that built it, told them it was “optimized…”

I won’t write a novel here today, explaining on page and off page optimization, or SEO in general. What I will say is that there is an affordable solution.
