content-goalsContent is content, right?

Not necessarily. Because each piece of content serves a different purpose. For example, blog content isn’t usually sales text. It can be from time to time, but for the most part it’s usually more interactive and a little more loose. It is actually written in a more conversational style. So it is a different type of content.

The reason I bring this up is because I think it is important for a website owner to figure out what they want from their content. To seriously consider what they want from their blog, their content in their main site pages, and in the content they send out to the far corners of the web.

The best way to do this is to set goals for each part of your site. What are your goals for your blog? What are your goals for your sales pages? Do you intend to mix it up a bit and add some sales to the blog as well? Do you want your blog to be written in conversation fashion? Or do you prefer it be written more like an encylopedia? Are you going to need a prolific blogger, or are you going to need someone that can write encyclopedia caliber content?

It all really depends on those goals. If you stop to map those goals out you’ll know exactly what needs to be done. In turn, you’ll know just what kind of content provider to hire for the job.

What’s the bottom line? I really don’t know. But if you determine that you need professional bloggers that know how to get it done in the blogosphere, you’ve found the right place. our blogging service can take your website to new levels. Give us a call and let us show you how.
